About Kayla's Care

Thank you for wanting to learn more about me!
I am located in the Plant City area of Hillsborough County.
I have a passion for learning and helping people and my
community in anyway that I can. I am currently in college and working on my nursing degree. however, i am making a career change into business management and administration this fall to take more control and manage the care of others properly in a more leadership position. I have a wonderful Fiance, we have been together for over 5 years and we have 2 amazing kids.
Child Care:
I have experience caring for a wide range of children from newborns to teenagers,
siblings,children with a wide range of disabilities, milestone delays, special needs,
anger problems, and more.I like to keep children actively learning in a fun environment.
I've taken kids swimming, to parks, bike rides, dog walking, and basic outdoor
activities. On more indoor days
we enjoy movies, drawing, painting, video games, board games, cleaning games,
helping to cook, and more. I encourage kids to learn independent care such as
dressing themselves, cleaning, bathing, homework, learning to prep and cook food,
potty training, eating solids, talking, walking, manners and behavior skills.

Senior Care:
My Senior Care Experience was acquired through a Senior Living Facility where I have been working the last year and half. I am experienced in working with Seniors of little assistance, to Seniors needing complete care with every task such as dressing, changing, toileting, bathing or showering, eating, exercising, walking, meal prep, grooming, and basic self care. I have lots of experience working with Seniors who have Alzheimer's and Dementia at all different stages. No one with these diseases are the same, it effects everyone differently. Please be descriptive if your person of care has, or shows, signs of Alzheimer's.
